White & Wood Mid-Century 1950’s Lounge Chair

Inspired by the spoke back chairs of legendary Hans J. Wegner, for the design of his Plank Chair.

This lounge chair features a high back and curved arms. This chair is made from a light colored wood, like maple or beech, instead of the usual teak. Freshened up for the modern day, this chair has been refinished from back to front. Cushions are newly upholstered in a very lighttaupe twill with fresh, white piping along the seams. Distinctive spoke back and leg tips have playfully been lacquered in white. The rest of the wood base has been lacquered in clear gloss to highlight the beauties in the natural wood.

Enjoy this fresh and distinctive classic mid-century chair in a new way today!
